Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes offshore Coquimbo, Chile: USGS

An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck off the shore of Coquimbo in Chile, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Sunday.

The quake was at a depth of 30.7 km, USGS added.

There was no immediate report on damages and casualties.
