Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday called for promoting green and low-carbon development and improving the country's ecological environment in the next five years. President Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks while presiding over a study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
