Lvliang, a city in north China's Shanxi Province, gets its name from the Lvliang Mountains, running from north to south.

Lvliang is a typical loess plateau landform with ravines, undulating mountains and terraced fields. It offers beautiful natural sceneries, cultural relics, and historic sites, especially the revolutionary memorial sites and ruins.

Lvliang has a long history, the earliest can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period (1100-476 BC).

Transportation

This transportation hub is accessible from all sides. If you start from Beijing, it will take you about eight hours to cover the 693-kilometer route along the Qingdao–Yinchuan Expressway to Lvliang.

Lvliang may not be as popular as other Chinese cities, but don't let that fool you. Lvliang is a small but beautiful up-and-coming tourist destination that is worth a visit.

The North Wudang Mountain, with its various pine trees and lifelike grotesqueness, is also one of the unmissable wonders.
