Jiuzhaigou Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site in southwest China's Sichuan Province, welcomed a large number of tourists during the May Day holiday. 

The valley is situated amidst the mountains on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is well-known for its ethnic cultures and stunning scenery.
