The 2020-21 CBA season has come to an end, after more than seven months, in Zhuji, east China's Zhejiang Province. All the games had to happen in one place because of COVID-19. The same reason kept spectators from entering the arena until the All-Star Game on March 20 and 21.
However, despite all the difficulties, the season ended smoothly. Moreover, many teams witnessed the rising of young players, which was not easy to find even in past seasons.
Yao Ming, president of the Chinese Basketball Associations, called it a "special" and "memorable" season for everyone. In an interview with China Media Group (CMG), the Chinese basketball chief gave his wrap-up of the 2020-21 CBA season.
