In the handover ceremony of supplies donated by China on Tuesday, Liberian President George Weah hailed the friendship between the two countries and thanked China's support in the country's fight against COVID-19.

Liberian health minister Wilhelmina Jallah said the anti-pandemic supplies, such as ventilators and oxygen generators, will greatly improve the country's ability to contain the virus.
