The government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Friday shortened quarantine time for fully vaccinated residents if they have been exposed to a COVID-19 patient.

The local health authorities said fully vaccinated residents, after coming in close contact of a COVID-19 patient, will have to spend seven days of quarantine at a government facility and seven days of self-monitoring at home.
