Infrared cameras have recently captured images of a giant panda, a forest musk deer and other rare wild animals in Wawushan National Forest Park of southwest China's Sichuan Province. The reserve is a key area for global biodiversity conservation, and has favorable conditions to host diverse species of wildlife. There are 17 species of first-class protected animals and 74 second-class protected animals in the forest park.
