Kazakhstan's capital Nur-Sultan has begun rolling out China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine to protect citizens against the coronavirus. 

Kazakhstan has purchased a million doses of Sinopharm Hayat-Vax, which was produced by a factory based in Abu Dhabi using Chinese technology. 

Kazakh citizens who receive the full vaccination course will receive a vaccination passport through the government website.
