As one consumption expo – the China Brand Day – begins in Shanghai, another one is wrapping up on Monday in Hainan. It's the final day of the China International Consumer Products Expo, or the Hainan Expo. The past few days were dedicated to mostly business-to-business or government-to-business events, but the final day saw the expo opening up to the public. CGTN reporter Cui Huiao told us China is building Hainan into a free trade port to make it the country's largest special economic zone. On Sunday, over 60,000 people came to the fair, and today the number is expected to be even higher.
