Why is China leading the world in holding mass outdoor events safely?

Vaccines and health precautions have led to gradual reopenings in many countries despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but mass outdoor events remain a rarity around the world.

According to the Association of Independent Festivals, which has been tracking festivals taking place in Britain this year, 26 percent with a capacity of more than 5,000 people have been cancelled.

Meanwhile, China's outdoor activities are safely recommencing. During the International Labor Day holiday, more than 20 music festivals were held in the country, with hundreds of thousands of people attending. Why is China able to safely hold such large-scale outdoor activities before the rest of the world?
