Future of work: Shared workspaces gain popularity amid COVID-19 pandemic

With a large common space, reasonable layout and convenient locations,  co-working spaces were the fastest-growing type of office space in commercial real estate before COVID-19. First introduced in China some five years ago, shared workspaces have seen a surge in popularity amid the coronavirus epidemic. WeWork, a multinational real estate service that provides shared workspace services worldwide, says its corporate members with 500 employees or more jumped from 43 percent in 2020 to 53 percent in 2021. CGTN's Liu Jiaxin finds out why.
