Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his five Central Asian counterparts in China's Xi'an this week. Security, the Belt and Road Initiative, and fighting the pandemic are high on the agenda. The five Central Asian countries include Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. For analysis, CGTN's Global Watch was joined by Zhang Xin, associate professor at the School of Advanced International and Area Studies with East China Normal University in Shanghai. He said these countries should raise the trust level in vaccines.
