Twenty-one massive natural sinkholes are located in Pingtang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province.

Sinkholes, in the shape of a well, are formed due to groundwater erosion and limestone collapse.

With over 92 percent of its land occupied by mountains, Guizhou is home to various unique landforms.
