An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 jolted southwest China's Baoshan City, Yunnan Province at 11:42 a.m. on Thursday, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake hit at a depth of 8 kilometers, CENC said.
There was no immediate report of casualties.
