One more confirmed local case of COVID-19 was found in Lu'an City, east China's Anhui Province, a local official told a press conference on Friday night.

It's the fourth local transmission Anhui province found in two days - two cases respectively detected in Lu'an and the provincial capital of Hefei City.

One suspected case was also reported in Lu'an, the official told the press briefing, adding that the five people are treated at hospitals and are in stable condition.

The patients haven't been injected against COVID-19 prior to diagnoses, another official attending the presser later said. 

Epidemiological investigations are underway in the two cities and beyond.
