Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee reports total of 38 COVID-19 cases

The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on Friday announced that an officer in his 40s working at a tournament-related facility in Tokyo was found to be infected with COVID-19.

A total of 38 officers from the Committee contracted COVID-19 since 2020, according to local media.
