Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Nanyang in central Henan Province on Wednesday and Thursday. Nanyang is a city known for its long and deeply-rooted culture of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It also serves as a Chinese herbal medicine's collection and distribution center. Xi stressed the importance of promoting and encouraging further innovation in TCM.
