Northeast China's Liaoning Province has reported two new confirmed locally transmitted COVID-19 cases in the city of Yingkou, according to the local authorities on Sunday night.

The two patients, previously asymptomatic, were diagnosed this afternoon.

As of 19:00 on Sunday, a total of nine confirmed locally transmitted cases were reported in the province during the recent COVID-19 resurgence.
