India reports 281,386 new COVID-19 infections

India recorded 281,386 new coronavirus infections and 4,106 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Monday.

The country's total caseload now stands at 24.97 million with the death toll at 274,390, official data showed.
