Jimmy Lai Chee-ying, an instigator of the Hong Kong riots, along with nine other people pleaded guilty on Monday to organizing illegal assemblies in 2019.
Two of the defendants, Ng Man-yuen and Tsoi Yiu-cheong, also pleaded guilty to participating in the illegal assembly that happened on Hong Kong Island.
The ruling will be made on May 28.
Of the 10 defendants, Chan Ho-wun, Lee Cheuk-yan, Leung Kwok-hung and Ho Chun-yan also pleaded guilty to inciting other people to participate in an illegal assembly on September 30, 2019 outside the Court of Final Appeal.
