China's Tianwen-1 probe touched down on the Red Planet on May 15 and the rover Zhurong is expected to roll out from the lander and begin scientific exploration. The mission is unmanned and it will take humans a while to set foot on Mars, but a town in northwest China's Qinghai Province is the next best thing. Dubbed "Mars Town," Lenghu boasts vast stretches of desolate lands in the Gobi Desert.
