Residents in a district in Singapore will now be able to use autonomous robots to deliver their shopping or e-commerce orders. The robots are part of a year-long trial led by the Infocomm Media Development Authority, or IMDA, and aims to ease manpower crunch and test the usability of robots across the island nation for contactless and 'last mile' delivery.
