The rising violence between Israel and Hamas militants in Palestine is entering a second week, with no signs of stopping. Israel conducted several air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday, following barrages of rockets fired by Palestinian militants at southern Israeli cities. International calls for a truce keep mounting.
