The Chinese mainland recorded 14 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, all from overseas, data from the National Health Commission (NHC) showed on Wednesday.  

No related deaths were logged in the day, the NHC said.

Thirteen new asymptomatic cases were recorded, with 345 asymptomatic patients under medical observation.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 90,908, with the death toll standing at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 11,826 (11,535 recoveries, 210 deaths)

Macao: 50 (49 recoveries)

Taiwan: 2,260 (1,127 recoveries, 14 deaths)
