Heavy fighting between Israel and Hamas has entered its 10th day despite international calls for a ceasefire. The United Nations says over 52,000 Palestinians have been displaced in Gaza and 47,000 have been seeking shelter in UN-run schools. This is the heaviest round of fighting between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza since 2014.
