The U.S. is the worst among developed countries in labor rights abuses that can be traced back to its history of trafficking and abusing Black slaves over hundreds of years, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Wednesday. Zhao also urged the U.S. government to take adequate measures to ensure its workers' legitimate rights and interests and abide by international labor conventions.
