Concerns continue to hound the Tokyo Olympics as the latest figures show Japan has only fully inoculated around 30 percent of its medical workers against COVID-19. Japanese newspaper Nikkei reported that most of the vaccine supply was concentrated in large hospitals, and there were problems in the reservation system for medics. Over 350,000 people have signed a petition calling for the cancellation of the long-awaited sports event, now just nine weeks away.
