A little grebe was captured on camera gobbling down a shrimp in a park in Jingzhou City of central China's Hubei Province.

The water bird was named by its body size compared with other species in the grebe genus. The bird, an excellent swimmer, breeds in heavily vegetated areas of freshwater lakes across Europe, Asia and Africa.
