Birdlover captures heron in central China

A yellow bittern, a medium-sized wading bird, was captured on camera in Jingzhou City of central China's Hubei Province. The bird was preying in the shade of lotus leaves, standing on reed stems and flying in the rain.

The bird, a member of the heron family, has yellow plumage, but when they are flying, the black flight feathers make them unmistakable.
