Japan's national doctors' union, which represents staff doctors from different medical professions, holds a news conference ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Earlier this month, the union submitted a written request to the government calling for the Olympics to be canceled amid rising COVID-19 cases that are putting pressure on the country's medical care system.
