Residents were evacuated after 15 wild Asian elephants entered E'shan County, Yuxi City in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Thursday. The elephants were transported on May 8 to E'feng Mountain in the north of the county. The herd used to live in Mengyangzi nature reserve of Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve and visited the city of Pu'er last December.
