Shenzhen denizens with wings: Birds in mangrove forests
CGTN

The mangrove forests along the northeastern coast of Shenzhen Bay look like a barrier protecting the coastal communities from waves and extreme weather. The migration season has passed while some birds still stay in the mangrove forests for abundant food and a peaceful environment. Mudskippers and crabs can be seen everywhere on the mudflat, and birds such as black-faced spoonbill and egret are foraging freely to enjoy their summer meal.
