Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko have held a meeting after the UN civil aviation agency announced it would investigate the forced landing of a passenger plane in Minsk and the following arrest of a journalist on board in a growing diplomatic row. The meeting in Sochi took place as airlines revealed Russia has blocked some European flights for avoiding Belarus airspace.
