The world's only captive brown panda met the public when a science park in Zhouzhi County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, started trial operation on Friday.

"Qizai" was born in 2009 at the Qinling Panda Breeding Research Centre. The new science park was built as the research center for conservation and education activities. The giant panda, the snub-nosed monkey, Qinling takin and crested ibis are the four precious species in the Qinling Mountains and can be seen in the science park.
