May 29 marks the International Day of UN Peacekeepers. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres laid a wreath on Thursday to honor more than 4,000 peacekeepers who have lost their lives since 1948. Zhou Bo, a senior fellow at the Center of International Security and Strategy at China's Tsinghua University, said peacekeepers' safety concerns should be taken more seriously.
