In Ethiopia, a huge pro-government rally took place in the capital Addis Ababa on May 30, criticizing outside pressure over its war in the Tigray region. Some 10,000 people attended the state-sponsored event. Demonstrators denounced the United States for placing visa restrictions on officials and for curbing economic and security assistance to the country.
