Sri Lanka is facing a beach pollution crisis as tonnes of plastic waste from a burning container ship wash ashore. Firefighting operations continue on the Singapore-registered vessel for a 10th day. Authorities say the fire was caused by a nitric acid leak that the crew knew about.
