China has further relaxed its family planning policy, supporting couples that wish to have a third child, it was decided at a meeting of the Political Bureau of Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee held on Monday. Dr. Wei Nanzhi, research fellow at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, shared her views on the new policy, saying the government is paying more attention to support couples to have more kids.
