Spectators will be required to present a negative certificate for the COVID-19 test or vaccination record before being allowed to enter the Olympic venues, Japanese media reported on Monday.

The Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun said an RT-PCR test must be taken within one week of the competition. The COVID-19 test is not required if the spectator shows proof of being vaccinated.
