China has delivered over 350 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to the world, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin at a press conference on Wednesday.
China has provided vaccine assistance to over 80 countries and exported vaccines to over 40 countries, according to Wang.
The country also joined hands with other developing countries to promote the mass production of vaccines.
Wang said that China will continue to support its domestic enterprises to strengthen cooperation with the World Health Organization and encourage more companies to participate in the global vaccines development and production.
Commenting on the WHO's approval of China's Sinovac jab for emergency use, Wang said the decision has proved the efficacy and safety of the Chinese vaccine.
