The COVID-19 vaccine developed by Sinovac Biotech has passed a WHO emergency use listing assessment – a procedure for listing unlicensed vaccines with the aim of expediting product availability amid a public health emergency. The Chinese pharmacy company says it has provided over 600 million vaccines worldwide, and has administered more than 430 million jabs.
