WHO approves China's Sinovac jab for emergency use

The World Health Organization (WHO) approved CoronaVac, the COVID-19 vaccine from China's Sinovac Biotech, for emergency use. It joins China's Sinopharm on the WHO list of approved vaccines. This opens the door for the jab to be used in the COVAX program, which aims to ensure fair access to vaccines.
