Bloomberg News on Thursday reported that the U.S. plans to amend a ban on American investment in so-called Chinese military-related companies this week. Asked about the proposed move, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated Beijing's call to Washington to respect the rule of law and market principles.
