China is calling for an explanation regarding the U.S.'s bio-weapons research at Fort Detrick, an army base in the U.S. state of Maryland. Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Friday urged the United States to give a responsible account for the link between Fort Detrick and Unit 731 of the Japanese Army that invaded China during World War II.
