Eight people are missing following coal and gas outburst at a coal mine in Jixi City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, around Saturday noon, local media said.
Search and rescue operations are underway.
As of 5:00 a.m, BJT on Sunday, rescuers have located the eight people.
