Guangzhou, the capital of south China's Guangdong Province, logged seven local COVID-19 transmissions, including one asymptomatic case confirmed on Saturday, the provincial health commission said on Sunday. 

Three asymptomatic domestic infections were also reported on Saturday, the commission said.

As of midnight on Saturday, a total of 2,534 cases were reported in the province, including 1,049 cases from overseas.
