Japanese Olympic official dies in apparent suicide

Yasushi Moriya, 52, a senior official of the Japanese Olympic Committee, died after jumping in front of an underground train in an apparent suicide on Monday morning, Nippon TV reported, citing Tokyo metropolitan police sources.

The police are investigating the incident.
