Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi is hosting his Southeast Asian counterparts in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. Beijing and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, are marking 30 years of dialogue relations. Wang and the Philippine Foreign Secretary Teo-doro Locsin co-chaired talks on Monday. China and the bloc promised to build stronger ties and work more closely on tackling the pandemic and pushing forward economic recovery.
