00:25

China says it will expand its COVID-19 vaccination program to include children aged 3 to 17. The announcement was made earlier by Zeng Yixin, vice minister of the National Health Commission. "We've already approved vaccinations for people over 18. We've done research and submitted preliminary safety and efficacy data for those aged 3 to 17. The results support the expansion of vaccinations for the population aged 3 to 17. But this is still in the process of approval," Zeng said.
